While traveling Sunday from Decatur, I stopped by a cemetery that I have not checked out before. It is near Eva. My trip was not for genealogy purposes and caught me unprepared, so I could not record names and dates. I did find, however, there are no Hughes, but at least one Culver family member buried there and several members of the Francis family. There is also a Francis road and a Wilhite Road nearby. The cemetery was extremely old with many of the folks buried there having lived & died during the nineteenth century.
Another observation was that many of the gravemarkers bore the distinctive look of the Francis family house shaped marker.
I plan to go back there and record names and dates for posting. In the meantime, if anyone already has that information, I would like to hear from you.
