December 28, 2006 my mother-in-law slipped into eternity. Her name is Elizabeth Clements Smith. She was 88 years of age and a wonderful Christian whose life was a testimony of love for the Lord and love for others. The photo was taken around 1988.

My name is Catherine Mary Hughes and I live in California. My father was Eldon Eugene Hughes, who died of cancer in 1978. His father was Eston Hughes and the family lived in Colorado, Oklahoma, Ariz. My great grandfather was James Hughes, who's father was Hiram Hughes. We have a missing brother of Hiram. I discovered your website by entering my name in a ask.com search. I enjoyed looking at your family photos and history of the Hughes' in your family. I don't know if we are related in some distant family tree, but I had to stop and say hello.
